Delete your account
This page covers Pool Party: Gameday, the app by 57 Monkeys LLC. You can delete your account and its data at any time.
In the app
Section titled “In the app”- On the home screen, tap your avatar at the top to open the account panel.
- Tap Profile.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
- Read the summary of what will be removed and what stays, then tap Delete my account.
- Confirm with Delete.
Deletion takes effect immediately. You’re signed out, and the rest finishes in the background, usually within a minute. It can’t be undone. Signing in again later starts a new, empty account.
By email
Section titled “By email”If you’ve already uninstalled the app, email support@57monkeys.com from the address on your account, with the subject Delete my account. If you signed in with Apple or Google, say which, and send it from that account’s email address. We’ll confirm by reply once the account is deleted.
What is deleted
Section titled “What is deleted”- Your sign-in, and the Apple or Google connection behind it
- Your email address
- Your profile name and photo
- Your notification settings and notifications
- Your direct messages
- Your place in every pool
What is kept
Section titled “What is kept”Your picks and results are part of a contest other people played, so removing them would change their standings. They stay, with your name removed:
- Your picks, results and standings in every pool you played, shown as Former member
- Your messages in pool chats, shown as Former member
- A record that the account was deleted, and when
Our email delivery service keeps its own record of the emails we sent you, such as sign-in codes. That record isn’t yet removed on a schedule.
Pools you own
Section titled “Pools you own”If you own a pool, it passes to the longest-standing other member. A pool with nobody else in it becomes read-only history, or is removed if no round was ever played. If you’re mid-season, the pool’s owner is told a player has left.
